The Evidence Desk

AI claims move fast. Evidence moves slower.

This is a living review of prominent claims about how AI affects thinking, learning, work, and creativity.

Each claim gets a plain-language verdict and two ratings, for the strength of the evidence and the attention it has drawn. A claim starts as an initial scan and becomes a full review once we have read the primary research in depth. Verdicts are provisional; they change as studies appear and as existing ones are corrected, retracted, or superseded.
